Privacy Policy

Lawnzy ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Esemby Properties LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Lawnzy iOS application, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Account information — your name and email address, used to create and identify your account.
• Client data you enter — names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, service notes, and pricing for your lawn care clients. This data belongs to you.
• Payment information — Stripe collects and stores card details on your behalf. We store a Stripe customer ID per client so you can charge them. We never see or store raw card numbers.
• Usage data — job completions, visit history, and earnings figures you record in the app.
• Device identifiers — anonymous crash and performance data to improve app reliability.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and secure your account.
• To store and sync your client list across devices.
• To process payments through Stripe on your behalf.
• To display your earnings, visit history, and schedule.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., account verification, password reset).
• To improve app performance and fix bugs.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted providers to operate Lawnzy:

• Supabase — cloud database and authentication. Your account credentials and client data are stored on Supabase infrastructure, encrypted at rest.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card data is handled exclusively by Stripe and subject to their PCI-DSS compliance. We store only a Stripe customer ID per client.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (verification codes, password reset links).
• Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting infrastructure for the Lawnzy API.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication and App Store billing.

Sign In with Apple & Passkey Security

Lawnzy supports Sign in with Apple, which uses Face ID or Touch ID as a passkey to authenticate you without a password. When you use this option:

• Apple generates a unique, anonymous identifier for your account — your Apple ID email is only shared if you choose to share it.
• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's encrypted Keychain, not in plain text storage.
• Biometric data (Face ID, Touch ID) never leaves your device and is never transmitted to Lawnzy servers.

Data Storage & Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our hosting providers. Authentication tokens are stored in Apple's secure Keychain on your device.

We do not store passwords in plain text. Password-based accounts use hashed credentials. We recommend using Sign in with Apple for the strongest security.

Your Client Data

The client information you enter into Lawnzy (names, addresses, contact details) is your business data. We do not share it with any third party for any purpose other than operating the service. You can export or delete this data at any time by contacting us.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and client data within 30 days. Stripe may retain payment records as required by their own policies and applicable law.

Children's Privacy

Lawnzy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your client data.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact support@lawnzy.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
